Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Backhouse (app.backhouse.ae) is operated by GAM solutions L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Backhouse application and tools (the "Service").

2. Accounts and activation

You sign in with Google or an email magic link and create (or join) an organization workspace. New workspaces start locked: the Service is activated for your organization after we agree a contract with you. There is no self-serve purchase. When a subscription ends, access locks again; your saved data is retained (see the Privacy Policy) and can be exported or deleted on request.

3. Fees

Fees, contracted tools and billing periods are those stated in your agreement with us. Prices are fixed for the agreed term — no usage-based surprises.

4. Your data and your responsibility

You retain all rights to the files you process and the results you save. You are responsible for having the right to process the data you upload (for example your employees' attendance records or your suppliers' invoices) and for reviewing outputs before acting on them.

5. What the tools are — and are not

The tools produce informational summaries and drafts from the data you provide. They are not legal, tax, accounting or HR advice. In particular: EInvoiceLens is a readiness diagnostic, not an accredited e-invoicing service provider; PayrollPilot produces a WPS-format file but your bank and the Ministry systems are the final authority on acceptance; reminder and reply drafts are only sent when you send them. Where a check cannot run because your file lacks the needed data, the tool says so rather than inventing numbers.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to process data you have no right to process, to attempt to access other organizations' data, or to probe or disrupt the Service. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the Service available and your saved data intact, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be shown in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
